BANKING,
LENDING AND LENDER
LIABILITY ______________________________________________
Our lawyers have developed a broad range of experience and skills in counseling and representing banking institutions in claims, disputes, suits, loan workouts and bankruptcies and in connection with loan documentation, letters of credit and loan participation. In addition, we have represented plaintiffs in lender liability litigation as well as defended banks in other such suits. Having experience on both sides of such complex lawsuits gives us unique knowledge, understanding and skills concerning the factual and legal issues in such cases. One of our senior partners, Ron Spradley, is past Chairman of the Commercial Law Committee of the Missouri Bar. He is active nationally and regionally in the Business and Commercial Litigation Committee of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association. He has been a member of the faculty presenting the Lending Litigation Institute, a seminar sponsored by the Banking Law Institute for bank loan officers and bank attorneys. He has also been a member of the panel presenting seminars for the American Bar Association Litigation Section: "Suing and Defending Banks - Theories and Tactics for the 1990's" at the Annual Meeting of the ABA in Atlanta in 1991 and by National Telecast from Washington, D.C. in May, 1992
