DOUGLAS D. SILVIUS,
born in Kansas City,
Missouri, September 4, 1962, has been actively engaged in litigation, business
and commercial practice since his graduation from the University of Missouri at
Kansas City School of Law in 1987 where he was a member of Law Review and the
Urban Lawyer. Admitted to practice
in both Missouri and Kansas, his primary areas of practice involve business,
commercial and real estate transactions and litigation, bankruptcy and wills and
trusts. Doug grew up in the Omaha,
Council Bluffs area, where his parents still reside. He obtained his undergraduate degree in criminal justice
administration at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri.
He has held several positions with the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar
Association, including Chairman of the Ross T. Roberts Inn of Court and the
Computer Law Committee. In addition
to his local bar activities, Doug is a member of the Missouri Bar, Kansas Bar
Association and Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the American Bar
Association’s Litigation.
